What was the most amazing moment of your childhood? Maybe hitting a game winning home run, or perhaps landing the lead in the school play? No matter. Something tells us it doesn’t come close to what happened to this eight year old. Not only will he remember it for the rest of his life, but so will the thousands of people around the world who made it possible. Find out why below.

On July 12, Dylan Spoering put a sign on his front lawn advertising a free concert. Neighbor and fellow musician, Thomas Rehbein, noticed Dylan’s sign and posted it to Facebook saying: “I have no idea who Dylan Spoering is, but he made this sign and put it out in his front yard, which I saw while biking home. Wouldn’t it be cool if a bunch of people showed up for his free concert?”

As luck would have it, the post went viral and hundreds decided to attend and show their support.

The best part? Almost all of them were complete strangers to Dylan.

Everyone wanted to help Dylan make the memory of a lifetime, even in the pouring rain.

Many of them carried signs to cheer Dylan on.

The concert was even streamed online with over 28,000 people watching!

Everyone made sure to tweet about it.

When the time came for the concert, Dylan played for 10 minutes from his elementary school music book.

Afterward, he was met with a standing ovation!

With the concert over, Dylan took to his fans to sign autographs and pass out a few homemade cookies. Like a champ!
